Note from the Executive Director: March 2024

Our Mission Statements & our DEI Statements are living breathing reflections of the current state of the minds and hearts of the active collective’s input, and reflect and speak to what we experience in the world as humans, artists, educators, organizers and culture bearers.

We hope our words help tell the story of how we as a collaborative currently understand the intention of Storyspace Arts and its project and programs.

We welcome you to become a part of it. Your story matters.

Thank you for your support.

Storyspace Arts DEI Statement:

Be you. Listen. Land. Share. Hate has no home here. Kindness rules.

We are trans, non-binary, Black, women, femmes, immigrants, single parents, queer.

Middle aged, teens, young adults, elders. We are allies.

We are a community. We are creatives.

Together, we make ourselves known. Together, we know ourselves better. Together, we take up space with our stories. Together, we can be free.
