95 1/2 Main presents "Spoken History", a spoken word and oral history interactive experience and installation created by guest curator, artist, writer, activist and community organizer Bill Batson.
Join us as we celebrate, honor and bear witness to the true stories of local African American Nyack women and men, including Cynthia Hesdra and Sam Waymon, among others, through oral histories recently collected as part of the Nyack Record Shop Project, art by Bill Batson, fashion/textile by Sara Bunn, photography by Luis Bruno, film projection by Kris Burns, historical artifacts and more.

"Spoken History" will be on view for the month of February 2018 in the East and West Window Galleries and the North Gallery Hall.
